At the Rye tennis tournament Bell and Mangin beat Austin and Cliff (England), 7—5, 6—2. Tilden won the Eastern Turf Court championship on Saturday, defeating Hunter, 6 —2, o—2, 10 —8. Tilden defeated Doeg, 6—3, 3 —6, 6—4, 6—4; Hunter defeated Austin in the semi-finals, 6 —4, 3—6, 6—2, I—o,1 —0, 6—l.
