MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB’S RESULTS. Scores were only moderate in the first competition shoot in the miniature branch of the New Plymouth Defence Rifle Club last night. The scores counted towards the championship, which is to be the best nine out of twehe shoots, and to the first handicap aggregate of six shoots. The weekly button was tied for by H. McGahey, J. G- Turnbull, S. Higgs. J. Ramson and G. E. Parker, with 67 1 each, and after a second shoot-off was . won by Higgs on the toss. j The scores were: H. McGahey 67, G.; E. Parker 67. G. Taylor 66. J. G. Turn- , bull 65. T. A. Marett 65, J. Ramson 64, | S. Higgs 64. J. Negus 64. O. P. George ; i 63. H? Hall 61, J. Goodwin 58, H. Jones i Other good scores which did not , count for the competition were: Turnbull 67. Higgs 67, Ramson 67, George 66, Marett 66.
