CRISIS IN BRITISH COTTON TRADE

London, July 2< Negotiations in the cotton trade broke down° at a late hour last night, despite the efforts of Sir Horace Wilson, per* manent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour. Unless, therefore, a surprise development occurs to-day, 500,000 will be idle on Monday.
