Army, Navy in the first innings* made 102 (Hill took four wickets for 13), and in the second 288 (Major Congdon 128; Major Armitage took five wickets for 67). Army in the first innings made 365 (Lieutenant Lynes 127, Captain Wilkinson 77), and in the second 26 for no wickets. Army won by ten wickets. Derby v. Sussex—Derby in the first innings made 324 (Stover 86; Bowley took nine wickets for 114), and in the second 133 (Bowley took four for 39). Sussex in the first innings made 493 (H. Gilligan 113, Duleepsinjhi 118, J. Langridge 86). Sussex won by an innings and 36 runs. Warwickshire v. Yorkshire—Warwickshire in the first innings made 239 and in the second 116 (Macaulay took four wickets for 21; Bowes' five for 32). Yorkshire in the first innings made 151 (Holmes 91; Mayer took four - wickets fox - 65) and in the second 175 for six wickets (Sutcliffe not out 82; Mayer took four wickets for 55). Yorkshire won by four wickets. Leicester v. Middlesex.—Leicester in the first innings made 377 (Shipman 133, Astill 121; Robins took six wickets for 128), and in the second ISO (Peebles took six wickets for 58). Middlesex in the first innings made 33» (Robins 89, Hendren 114) and in the second 123 (Astill took four wickets for 41). Leicester won by 99 runs.

Lancashire v. Kent. —Lancashire in the first innings made 347 (Watson 126; Freeman took ten wickets for 131 j, and in the second 305 for six wickets and declared (Hallows 114, E. Tyldesley 97). Kent in the first innings made 235 (Woolley 61), and in the second 228. Lancashire won by 189 runs.

Hampshire v. Essex.—Hampshire in the first innings made 340 (Brown 13/ Newman 87; Hipkin took four wickets for 55 runs), and in the second 238 for four -wickets and declared (Mead not out 120). Essex in the first innings made 192, and in the second 211 (Kennedy took six wickets for 67. Hampshire won by 175 runs. Somerset v. Nottinghamshire—Somerset in the first innings made 411 (White 192), and in the second 159 for nine wickets and declared (White 63). Nottinghamshire in the first innings made 219° (White took six wickets for 91), and in the second 150 for three, wickets. Somerset won on the first innings. Glamorganshire V- Worcestershire.--Glamorgan in the first innings made. 506 for eight wickets and declared. Worcester in the first innings made 240 and following on made 273 for five wickets. Glamorgan won on the first innings.
