AUSTRALIAN BASIC WAGES
REDUCTION OF Is IN QUEENSLAND. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, July 27. An increase of 6d per week in the basic wage in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, and a decrease of 6d in Sydney and Hobart, and a reduction of Is in Brisbane, are revealed by the figures compiled by the Trades Hall research information bureau.
The new rates comes into operation on August 10. - ■ ________
