OLD BOYS IN AUCKLAND

BRANCH ASSOCIATION MEETS.

The Auckland branch of the New Plymouth High School Old Boys’ Association held its annual meeting on Monday evening. Mr. H. L. Calder presided over an attendance of about 15. The success of the last re-union was referred to by the president. . It was hoped to hold this year’s re-union when the school football team was in Auckland to play the Auckland Grammar School. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. Lionel O'Hallaran; vicepresidents, Mr. L. M. Horrocks and Mr. H. L. Calder; secretary, Mr. D. O’Halloran; treasurer, Mr. A. Brodie; committee, Dr. E. W. B. Griffiths, Messrs. K. Taylor, R. J. O’Dea, J. F. McDonald and A. E. H. Putt. This year’s re-union is to be held on August 24. A recommendation was made to the incoming committee that the function take the form of a dinner, to be followed by a theatre party.
