INQUIRIES FROM BUYERS. WAIKATO LAND SALES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Cambridge, July 16. Inquiries for property in the d.suiet are numerous. During the past few weeks two farmers have bought land here. During the past few days a farm at Pukeroro, of the estate of the late Elias Dunning, has been purchased by Mr. Preece, a Taranaki farmer. Out Kaipaki way another farm has been sold, Air. T. Heely disposing oi his property near the hall to Mr. R. C. Dixon, of Whangarei. The farm is a very good one of 100 acres. An exchange of farms has recently been fixed up, Air. Fred Strawbridge, of Maungatautari, having exchanged his place of-473’/s acres, with Air. Sutton,, of Rukuhia, the latter’s farm comprising 52 acres. The change over will take place as from about the end. of . the present month. Another Taranaki farmer is at present in the district on the lookout for a property. At the present time farmers are enjoying a bit of a rest, but it will not be for long, as already most dairymen have a few cows at profit, and by the end of the month the new dairying season will be commenced in earnest again. prospects are exceptionally good for both pastures and herds are in great heart, duo to the mild winter. The Cambridge Co-operative Dairy Company is making preparations for a heavy season’s production. The Roto-o-rangi factory is being remodelled and enlarged, and will have a capacity of ten vats, and similarly the Fencourt factory. The Bruntwood Cheese Company is also effecting, extensive improvements to its factory.
