LATE GENERAL BOOTH
SAID TO HAVE DIED PENNILESS. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received July 5, 8.20 p.m. London, July 4. The Daily Chronicle learns that General Booth died penniless. Beyond hie uniform and a few books ho held no possessions. His sole income was £5OOO a year from a trust fund, and although he controlled funds amounting to millions, he had to rely on relatives to pay for the education of his children.
