SPANISH RECOGNITION OF RESCUE. British Official Wireless. Rugby, July 4. A public reception accorded at Aladrid to-day to Captain Lawrence and tho other officers of tho aircraft carrier Eagle and to the Spanish airmen whom they rescued was embarrassingly fervid. Wild with enthusiasm, the crowds broke through the police, and the officers were embraced and showered with bouquets. Spanish officers linked arms to protect the Englishmen from these attentions until the shelter of their hotel was reached. They lunch with the Queen of Spain to-morrow.
