VARWHAM CUP RACE
CYCLING HANDICAPS DECLARED. The following handicaps have been declared by Mr. G. H. Weir for the second race in the Varnham Cup series to be held to-day over a course of approximately in miles from Peel’s store, Vogeltown, at 2 p.m.:— J. Horne (scr', J. Hutchinson, L. Reed (35sec), J. Donaldson, J. Heatley (45 sec), R. Roper (2min), R. Gardiner,. H. Cavaney (2min losec), H. Peel (3min), L Ward, E. Hartley (3min 30sec). A post entry race (no entry fee) for boys under 16 will also start at Peel’s store at 2 p.m. Riders and officials have been invited to Mr. E. J. Hutchinson’s residence for afternoon tea after tho races.
