REJECTION OF FARM BILL
J WHEAT PRICES SENT TUMBLING. A Chicago message states that the Senate’s failure to accept the Farm Relief Bill passed by the House removed the main prop from the wheat market and sent prices tumbling at the opening, but reports that advocates of the debentures clause w-ould work for its inclusion in the Tariff Bill and permit the farm legislation to go through unhindered restored more confidence later. Nevertheless, sentiment continued nervous and the closing levels remained considerably lower, namely: July 1051 cents, September 110 J .cents, December 115-i cents.
