IMPROVING WEATHER.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will still be rather unsettled on the east coast, with scattered showers, mainly between Castlepoint and East Cape, but improving and otherwise fair to fine, with cold temperatures and many frests. Winds'will be from the south-west to southerly and still strong to gale on the east coast, elsewhere moderate to fresh, and decreasing gradually everywhere. Seas will still be rough on the east coast and moderate to rather rough on the west coast, but moderating generally. In the small Sc.. there will be moderate to fresh southerly winds and rather rough seas in the eastern Tasman, but the wins and the seas will decrease.
