KILLED AT LEVEL CROSSING

Barton, S.M., held »n inquest on William Daniell, who was killed by a train on a mossing on May 24. The evidence was that Daniell continued on to the line, despite that all the signals were working and the train blowing a continuous whistle. He was absorbed, it appeared, in filling or eleantjjjg his pipe. The verdict absolved the. IjirTver from any blame whatever.
