To the .Ratepayers of the South Taranaki Electric-power District. is hereby given that the South Taranaki Electric-power Board proposes at its meeting to be held on the 25th day of June, 1929, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £200,000 for the purposes of supplying" and distributing electric energy for the benefit of the South Taranaki Electric-power District and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things as the Board is empowed to do by “The Electric-power Boards Act 1925” and its Amendments; and in particular, but without limiting in any way any of the aforesaid powers, to purchase the assets and undertaking of the Hawera County Electric Company Limited, and to provide erect and construct a system of electric distribution and reticulation in such parts of the South Taranaki Electric-power District as are not at present reticulated, and to improve add to and extend the present system of electric distribution and reticulation, and to make provision for financial assistance to consumers, and for trading purposes as provided by the said Act. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the South Taranaki Electric-power Board not later than the day preceding the said meeting. NEW PLYMOUTH AERO CLUB (Incorporated). is hereby given that arrangements have been made with Hamilton Airways, Ltd.,' whereby all members of the New Plymouth Aero Club who present their certificates of membership of the club for the current year when booking flights will receive a concession of 20 per cent, on flying fees. Members will be entitled in future to FREE ADMISSION to the club’s aerodrome at all times on presentation of their current certificates of membership.
