At a meeting of the proprietors of country newspapers in Wellington yes-, terday and to-day, representing all parts of New Zealand, it was unanimously decided to form a Country Newspaper Proprietors’ Association, Steps have already been taken to enable the new association to function at an early date. Sir Walter Carncross, of Eltham, presided at the meetings.
