PRIMARY SCHOOL SPORTS.
The North Taranaki Primary Schools’ Amateur Athletic Association holds its second annual meeting at Pukekura Park next Thursday, March 14. Entries have come in freely from about 20 schools, and keen competition for the shield donated to the association by the Taranaki Education Board is assured. In addition to the quota points awarded to country schools to encourage them in competition with larger schools this year, Mr. Furrie, of Stratford, has donated a cup for competition amongst schools of grades 0 to 3. A full programme -of in' •’resting and spectacular events has been arranged.
