LATE PRICES MAINTAINED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Westfield stock sale to-day an average yarding of ox beef came forward for which competition was fairly steady, and prices were on a par with those of last sale. Two trucks of bullocks real ised £ll 17s 6d, £l2, £l3s 15s and £l5 15s. Cow and heifer beef was penned in average numbers and prices ruling were on a par with those at last sale. Extra choice ox sold to 42s per 1001 b., choice and prime 37s* to 41s, just killable 35s to 365, prime young cow and heifer beef 34s to 375, just kiilable 31s to 33s 6d. An average yarding of sheep came forward and prices were slightly lower than those ruling at last market. Heavy prime wethers realised 30s, 31s and 32s 9d. Extra heavy prime wethers made 32s 9d, heavy prime 31s, medium 30s, light and unfinished 28s 6d, heavy prime ewes 25s 6d, lighter 22s 3d, other ewes 19s 3d. An average yarding of lambs was sold at late rates. Heavy prime lamb made 28s, medium 27s 3d, light 22s 6d. Calves were penned in average numbers and sold freely at recent rates. Heavy vealers brought £4 to £4 10s, medium to £3 17s, light £2 5s to £2 15s, small £1 5s to £2. Pigs met with good competition, late values being well maintained. Heavy baconers made £2 17s to £3 Is, medium £2 12s to £2 19s, light £2 5s to £2 10s, heavy porkers £2 3s to £2 6s, medium and light £2 to £2 2s.
