( _ — NEW PLYMOUTH-ONEHUNGA FERRY The Rarawa, with 50 passengers and 12 tons of cargo from Onehunga, arrived at New Plymouth yesterday mornin". She returned last night and is expected .. at New Plymouth again early to-morrow morning, SURREY IN PORT. The Surrey, which left Melbourne last Sunday "morning, arrived at New Plymouth at 1.15 p.m. yesterday to commence loading for New York, Hallfax, and“ London. The trip across the Tasman was a fair weather one and the vessel made a fast voyage. The Surrey loads 1800 boxes of butter, 1250 crates of cheese and 11,000 freight carcases of meat here for New York and •Halifax, and is expected to clear port this evening for Wanganui, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland to complete loading. She is scheduled to leave Auckland on January 24 for New York, via Panama. The vessel is commanded by Captain R. B. Macßae. KEKERANGU CALLING. > The Kekerangu (3146 tons) has been scheduled to load at Wallaroo about January 22 and at Adelaide and Melbourne for Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth and Auckland. She should be at New Plymouth about the middle of February to put out portion of hei cargo. CORNWALL LEAVES PANAMA. Cabled news has been received that the Cornwall arrived at Panama .on (December 26 from Liverpool, and sailed again on December 27 for New Zealand ports. The vessel is due at Auckland on January 18, and at New Plymouth about February 15. SOMERSET DUE MONDAY. The Somerset arrived at Auckland on •Tuesday from Dunedin to continue loading for London and West of England ports. The vessel leaves Auckland tomorrow afternoon for New Plymouth, being due here on Monday afternoon to load 3000 boxes of butter, 5500 crates of cheese and 9400 freight carcases of meat. shipping telegrams.
