PROVINCIAL FEDERATION FOILED By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston North, Last Night. For the purpose of discussing the formation of a Wellington Provincial Federation of Women’s Institutes, a meeting of delegates from Waverley, Inglewood, Woodville, Levin, Shannon, Pahiatua, Eketahuna and other towns was held to-day, Miss A. E. Jerome Spencer, New Zealand organiser, presiding. The formation of the federation was agreed upon and the officers elected were: —President, Mrs. J. D. C. Crewe (Pahiatua); vice-president, Mrs. Waring Taylor (Shannon); secretary, Mrs. N. West (Rongotea); treasurer, Mrs. A W. Crawford (Palmerston North).
