Manuka, delayed indefinitely at Wellington. COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Totara sailed for Wellington at 8 p.m. last night. She will re-load at Lyttelton about Tuesday for New Plymouth. (U.S.S. Co.). The Kaponga is due at New Plymouth this morning from Dunedin, via Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson. She is expected to sail this evening for Nelson, Westport and Dunedin.’ (U.S.S. Co.).

The Ka-im wa, which. ,was due at New Plymouth yesterday with 450 tons of coal, is bar-bound at Westport. (U.S.S. Co.). The John is bar-bound at Wanganui. If she crosses the bar she should arrive to-day. After unloading she will proceed to Lyttelton, and is due in New Plymouth again about October 17. (Holm and Co.). The Progress was scheduled to leave Lyttelton yesterday for Wellington. She is due at New Plymouth on Monday and sails the same day for Port Waikato. (Holm and Co.). The Corinna is due to load at Dunedin to-morrow for New Plymouth via Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson. She is due here about October 19. (U.S.S. Co.) NEW PLYMOUTH-ONEHUNGA FERRY The Rarawa, from Onehunga, was unable to cross the Manakau bar yesterday afternoon. She is expected to cross this morning at 7 o’clock and is due at New Plymouth this evening. She returns to-morrow night and is expected at New Plymouth again on Tuesday. DEVON ARRIVES. 1 Tlie Devon arrived off New Plymouth about 2.30 p.m. yesterday. She could not berth owing to the Port Dunedin still being in and also to rough weather. She put out to sea to wait for more favourable conditions. The Devon has 1740 tons of Liverpool cargo to discharge here, and will load 9000 freight carcases of meat, 5000 boxes of butter, and 7000 crates of cheese. She will be in port until Wednesday next, when she will proceed to Wellington, Napier and Auckland to complete loading for American and British ports, PORT DUNEDIN SAILS. The Port Dunedin completed, loading yesterday ano sailed for Wellington. She is scheduled to sail for Wellington about the middle of the week for London, via Panama. VESTVARD IN PORT. The Norwegian motor vessel Vestvard berthed on the eastern side of the Newton King wharf at 10 a.m. yesterday, her draught being 19ft. 6in. aft. The vessel has 5000 cases of oil, loaded at Port Arthur, Texas, to discharge here, and is expected to clear this port about 6 p.m. to-day for Beauty Point (Launceston), Melbourne, and Fremantle to complete discharge. The Vestvard sailed from the Texas port on August 22, and six days later cleared the Panama Canal. She experienced fine weather the other side of Colon, and after clearing Balboa good weather continued until near New Zealand, when strong westerly and south-westerly gales sprang up. Captain C. Christopherson is in command of the Vestvard, and his officers are:— Chief, Mr. L. Larsen; second, Mr. B. Christopherson; third, Mr. A. B. Krogelund. The vessel carries a crew of only 29, The ship, which was built in 1925 in Germany, is registered as 4319 tons gross, and is a very fine type of vessel. She is owned by L. Kloser, of Oslo, Norway, who also owns the motor ships Austvard, Sorvard and Nordvard, all of which have visited Australia during the last 12 months. PORT WELLINGTON FROM LONDON. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Wellington was scheduled to leave London for Auckland, Wellington and New Plymouth Wednesday. She is due at Auckland about the middle of November, and should be at New Plymouth about the end of November to complete discharge. WAITEMATA’S MOVEMENTS. The Waitemata, which left San Francisco on Tuesday, was due at Los Angeles yesterday and will proceed to-day to Auckland, where she is due on November 6, going thence to Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Nelson and New Plymouth. From New Plymouth she will go to Suva and Vancouver. THE MAUI POMARE. The Government steamer Maui Pomare was to dock yesterday in connection with her overhaul, which will be completed at the beginning of next week. She is scheduled to sail next Tuesday for Niue Island and Apia to load island produce for Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
