GISBORNE BUSH FIRES OUT
LOSSES SMALLER THAN FEARED. Bl' TDegr^vih.—Press Association. Gisborne, Oct. 11. Heavy rain yesterday quenched the scrub and log fires. Inspection of the properties affected reveals that stock losses are much less severe than expected. The loss in feed and fences is considerable.
