MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING

MR. SIMPSON, LABOUR CANDIDATE. Mr. W. G. Simpson, Labour candidate for the New Plymouth electorate, yesterday met a very satisfactory attendance of ladies in the Workers’ Social Hall. He delivered a brief but inspiring address, which was received wita very evident interest. A committee comprising the whole attendance was enrolled to assist Mr. Simpson’s candidature. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the candidate for his address, and an assurance that the ladies’ committee would not be found wanting in energy or enthusiasm.
