ANZAC RIFLE SHOOTING
YESTERDAY’S TWO MATCHES. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 8, 11.5 p.m. Sydney, Oct. 8. The Anzac rifle camp was roughly handled by the eyclone yesterday, but shooting was resumed this morning with matches counting for the King’s Mark Foy match at 500 yards. O’Donnell (Junee) and Eatson (Melbourne)- tied, both scoring the possible, and O’Donnell won on the shoot off. The Le Maitre match, 600 yards, resulted in Cole (Waverley), Pinwick (Muswell Brook), E . M. Vennell (Masterton, New Zealand), Spencer (Moree), and Harris (Newcastle) each scoring 49. Vennell took 110 s.
