55 HIGH-CLASS PEDIGREE CATTLE. The ninth annual bull fair under the auspices of the Kaponga Jersey Club will be held at Newton King Ltd.’s saleyards, Kaponga, on Monday, October 8, at 11.30 a.m. The catalogue comprisses 55 high-class pedigree cattle, 50 bulls and five yearling heifers. This represents an increase of 100 per cent, on last year’s entries, and the sale presents a unique opportunity for dairymen to procure serviceable sires displaying type and constitution. The majority of the cattle to be offered descend from the Dominion’s foremost sires. The imported bulls K.C.8., Majesty’s Fox, Eminent’s Fontaine, Campanile Sultan, Lord Twylish, Petune’s Noble, Roberts, Goddington, Xenia’s Oxford Lad, Viola’s Golden Laddie, and the well-known Dominion-bred sires Grannie’s Knight, Bilberry’s Twylish, Soumise Tom, Belvedere’s Sun Prince, Hollybank Squire and Rose’s Attraction’s Fox—the seven last-named holding the Dominion distinction of champion butter-fat bulls. The catalogue also includes Mr. W. A. Guy’s well-known mature sire Fox’s 'Ring. AU yearlings will be inoculated a week before the sale, so that prompt despatch can be made of deliveries outside Taranaki. Buying orders entrusted to the auctioned' - * care by outside buyers will be executed conscientiously, and feeding and trucking attended to at moderate charges. The sale will be conducted by Newton King, Ltd.
