MAORI GIRL DROWNED
BODY FOUND IN A LAGOON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Last Night. A Maori girl four years of age, named Sophia Manuel, whose parents reside at Anauru, 20 miles from Tologa Bay, was drowned to-day. The child was missing from her home in the morning and search parties at length discovered the body in a lagoon near the home.
