NEW PLYMOUTH HARRIERS

RACE AT FITZROY BEACH. A run of about four miles was taken over the Fitzroy district on Saturday by six members of the New Plymouth Harrier Club. The small attendance was accounted for by the fact that ths majority of the harriers were on military parade. Two High School boys in training for their steeplechase went most of the journey with the harriers in a satisfactory manner. After the run the party adjourned to the residence of Mr. A. S. Hunter, where they were entertained at afternoon tea. There will be no run next Saturday, but the harriers will meet at Eliot Street at 2 p.m. for a trip to Mount Egmont.
