The Education Department at Aloseow has planned the systematic military preparation of school-going youth, including the curricula of the middle schools and universities, the theoretical and practical study of modern warfare, and is engaging officers of the Red Army for regular war work in the schools, each of which is organising a special military room and forming military groiips of most of the pupils. The Soviet is maintaining the military enthusiasm in the people, which was roused during the recent manoeuvres by special agitation. Waggons decorated with war pictures and watchwords are perambulating the country districts, attracting the people by bands, dances and film displays.
