REGULATION 7, CLAUSE 3 and 4: “No person shall operate any motor Vehicle which is not equipped with a FIXED RED REFLECTOR affixed to the Tear thereof, as near as possible to r forming part of, the Tail Light, having an effective reflecting surface of not less than 3 square inches in area, and set perpendicularly so as to reflect towards the rear any light shining from rearward of the Vehicle.” This means that if you have not a suitable reflector you are liable to be prosecuted.
