The men arrested in connection with the murder of M. _ey, who was shot through a window while adjusting a wireless set, are Charles Jaekson, aged 21, charged with murder, and James Dent, aged 21, charged with inciting Jackson to murder. Dent was formerly partner to Moxey, but the partnership was dissolved owing to domestic differences.

The police obtained important statements, and Jackson led them to a water hole where the gun was thrown.
