BURGLARIES AT WINTON

TWO HOTELS ROBBED OF STOCKS By Telegraph—Association. Invercargill, Last Night. Burglars have been busy in the Winton district. The storeroom at the Railway Hotel was broken into, and a quantity of liquor stolen. Tho Lochiel store was also entered and a quantity of merchandise removed. An unsuccessful attempt to enter the Winton Hotel was also made this morning, while the Oreti Hotel was entered and two cases of whisky and half a case of brandy were stolen.
