At the hard-court tennis championships, in the first round of the doubles, Tooralva (Chili) and Edouard Borotra (France) defeated J. Peacock (New Zealand) and Guillemot (France) 6—4, 7—4, 6—3. Borotra played most brilliant strokes recalling his famous brother.
