OPIUM' FOUND ON SHIP

CHINESE CREW ON BOARD. By Telegraph —Pre«B Association. Wellington, May 18. The Customs people found about £6O worth of opium secreted in one of the holds of the steamer Pleiodon at the Miramar wharf. It was contained in tins wrapped in canvas. The steamer has 39 Chinese among the crew.
