Smith told the Presidential Expenditures Committee that the only limitation in future contributions to Governor Smith’s campaign would be their capacity to keep on giving their combined fortunes, which are worth at least a hundred million dollars. They sta'ed that they would back him for all they had. “All ho has to do is to say he wanted it.” It was stated that Governor Smith wished no compensation in the event of his being Sleeted.

Mr. William Kehny has donated 70,000 dollars, a part of which is reported to be a loan, but Mr. Kenny stated that he gave the total sum and will give more if necessary.
