ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL

NORTHERN DIVISION OFFICERS. _At a meeting on Wednesday to consider the organisation of the’ northern division of the Taranaki Football Association, the following officers were elected:—Chairman, Mr. W. B. Harlow; committee, Dr. D. E. Brown, Dr. R. J. Mecredy, Messrs. J. Swainson, J. Wood, G. H. Gqpringe, J. Roberts and J. Thomson; boys’ teams committee, Messrs. G. H. Gornnge, J. Swainson and J. Roberts; secretary, Mr. J. R. Seeats. It was decided to hold a five-a-side tournament at Western Park ou June 4, the net proceeds to be handed to the unemployment fund. FIXTURES FOR TO-MORROW. On Saturday next, when the North v. South trial match will be played at Stratford, it was decided to play the following fixtures: Rangers v. Port Auckland (Mr. Eddleston). at Western Park, 1.45 p.m. Albion v. Motucoa (Mr. Wallace), at Western Park, 2.45 p.m. Boys’ teams.—Eitzroy v. Caledonians, at Fitzroy, 2 p.m.; West End v. Pirates, at Fitzroy,- 3 p.m.; referee, Mr. W. Spedding.

TEAMS TO PLAY. Albion v. Moturoa. —Moturoa team will be selected from the following players: Broughton, Lovett, Johns, A. Anderson, Duncan, Lewis, White, Mells, McCulloch, Hatt, Matthews, Byan, Scansol, Edwards. Port Auckland team to play New Plymouth Rangers at Western Park at 1.45 to-morrow.—Morgan, Lloyd, Fletcher, McPherson, Buchannan, Drover, Griffiths, Vickers, Cutter, Graham, and Bowers. SECOND ROUND Ol' JULIAN CUP. May 26. —Moturoa v. Rangers, Western Park (2.45 p.m.); Caledonians v. Albion, Racecourse. June 2.—Albion v. Moturoa, Western Park; Rangers v. Caledonians, Racecourse. June 9.—Rangers v. Albion, Western Park; Caledonians v. Moturoa, Racecourse. The team first mentioned is to be responsible for the preparation of grounds and all games are to be played on the grounds allotted. It was decided to endeavour to have lhe final of the Julian Cup played at Western Park on June 30.
