RUGBY TOUR OF N.S.W.
NO DECISION ARRIVED AT. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, April 20. Questioned regarding the dispatch of a New Zealand team to New South Wales this season, the chairman of the New Zealand Rugby Union, Mr. 8. S. Dean, stated that the management committee had not yet considered the matter, though it had authorised Mr. Hornig to discuss the question of tours with the New South Wales Union while in Sydney. A visit from New South Wales this season was, of course, expected, but nothing definite in the matter of sending a team to Australia would be decided until Mr. Hornig’s report came to hand. TWO FRIENDLY GAMES TO-DAY. A team of young, fit. Athletic (Hawera) footballers will engage an Old Boys’ senior club side at the Pukekura Park ground to-day.
