The Riga correspondent of the Times states the Soviet has published a decree extending th© Academy of .Science by the inclusion of 37 institutions with 85 academical chairs. The academy Is the only educational institution .wjth which tht revolutionaries have pot interfered, but the newspaper Isvestia now declares it is reactionary and does not represent the Communist ideal. Th© occupants of the 40 new chairs must' think along Soviet lines and discard all mildewed traditions.
