COUNTY OF EGMONT. CLOSING ROADS AGAINST HEAVY TRAFFIC. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with Section 99, Part IV. of the Taranaki Counties’ Joint Bylaws, 1920, and by virtue of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Egmont County Council, have resolved that the whole of the roads situate in the County of Egmont, except the Main Highways (the Main South and Eltham Roads) shall be CLOSED against Heavy Traffic (as defined by the said By-law) from Ist May to 30th September, 1928; and the Council hereby orders that all Heavy Traffic (as defined by the said By-law) must cease during the months of May, June, July, August and September. Heavy Traffic is defined as :(a) Being the transportation of any vehicle, engine, or machine, the weight of which, together with the load thereon, weighs more than one and a half tons to eaeh pair of wheels; (b) the transportation of any vehicle or things by means of bullocks, irrespective of weight.
