VALUABLE RING STOLEN
‘■RACEHORSE OWNER’S” RUSE. ARREST MADE IN WELLINGTON. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A man walked into Jenness and Partridge’s jeweller’s shop in Manners Street to-day, representing himself to be a racehorse owner, and asked to see a diamond ring valued at £750. He took it to the door as though to see it in a better light, and bolted. The man was later found in a hotel bar displaying the ring and was arrested.
