BABY GIRL FATALLY BURNED
PLAYED WITH FIRE WHILE ALONE. Tele^rsph.—Press Association. Woodville, April 17. Burns received by a baby girt at Papatawa last evening were followed by her death in the Dannevirke Hospital at eleven o’clock. Gladys Rae Mabey, the three-year-old daughter of John Mabey, a farmer, had been tampering with a fire, and hjr clothes caught alight. The mother, Who had been obtaining the mail, returned to find the child in a serious condition. Medical aid was summoned and the sufferer was taken to hospital, where her dejktk. occurred
