It would be difficult to surpass in artistry of reproduction the illustrations that appear in this week’s issue of the N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Revi- . For variety of interesting subjects the current number is unrivalled. The Na t .cr Park Races, the Franklin Club’s Meeting, Pukekohe, and the Manawatu Trots form an attractive series covering generous space. The Rotary Conference at Palmerston North, and the Australian-Auckland cricket match are of leading interest, while a page devoted to the N.Z. Team for the Olympic Games, will be of popular appeal. A frontispiece of the film “The K\. 6 of Kings,” a beautiful coloured supplement of “Billie Dove,” and numerous stage and screen pictures are further attractions. Other pictures that will catch eye are Te Kuiti children at the Auckland Zoo, Annual Veterans' Bowling match, opening of experimental Forestry Station at Swanson, the Police Picnic at Pine Island, Tom Heeney the N.Z. Boxer, Steepleci asing i England, Croydon Aerodroi e. Riviera Scenes, etc. The Review is on sale at all booksellers and stationers.
