FATAL MOTOR SMASH

PALMERSTON TRAVELLER KILLED. Bj Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. An accident attended by fatal results occurred near Bunnythorpe this afternoon, when James Irvine, a Palmeiston North draper’s traveller, married, aged 50, went over an incline on the road in his car and was killed instantly. The rear wheel broke and before the driver could regain control of the wobbling motor it left the road and somersaulted. Irvine was discovered with his head crushed and his neck broken.
