For tlie second day of the Rotorua races, after rain the track was in good order. The weather was fine and the attendance very large. The totalisator handled £20,132 10s, as against £17,571 for the second day last year, and for the meeting £42,481, as against [£36,295. an increase of £GIB6. Results are:— TARAWERA HIGH WEIGHT. Manly and Gold Dawn were withdrawn from all engagements at 5 p.m. MOVEMENTS OF HORSES. Baby Bun was taken north -by the Ngapuhi on Saturday night. Transformer goes north by the Ngapuhi to-night. R. MeMiken goes north by the Ngapuhi to-night with Farndon and Always. These two have been trained in New Plymouth since the holidays. The trotters Hue Coronado, Sister Beatrice, Our Patch and Bright Light are going north by the Ngapuhi to-night to fulfil engagements at the Otahuhu meeting.

By the mail train yesterday morning a number of horses were railed to Wanganui, where they have engagements at the forthcoming meeting. Included in the number were J. T. Jamieson’s team, Eden Hall, High Finance, Dimmer and The Immigrant; W. J. Donovan, witli Tiega, Tea Miss and Greengrocer; W. Hawthorne’s Lady Killer, Sarchee and Hymgreat. • By the same train Hynanna, Miss Ransom’ and Agreeable were taken home to Masterton by T. J. Daly, and they were later scratched for all engagements at Wanganui. Kiosk, Elysianor and others went by the early train to Wanganui. A. P. Brady’s pair, Ned Kelly and Wenday, were railed north yesterday morning.
