DAMAGE AT TATE GALLERY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received Feb. 10, 5.5 p.m.) A.P.A. and Sun. London, Feb. 9. The Financial secretary to the Treasury (Mr. A. M. Samuel) announced in the House of Commons that the flooding of the Tate Gallery had destroyed only 20 unimportant mid-Victorian pictures. All the others could be restored.
