WELLINGTON HILLSIDE FIRE
BROADCASTING STATION AFFECTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Dense clouds ef smoke swept over the 2YA broadcasting station on Mount Victoria shortly after noon to-day from a grass and gorse fire which originated near Palliser Road, Roseneath.
The fire brigade was summoned to the outbreak which was suppressed after a large area of the hillside had been burnt.
