The Commonwealth liner Esperance Bay collided with the outgoing Dutch motor vessel Kota Radka off the North Foreland. The Esperance Bay’s hawse piper, her stem, and port rails were slightly damaged. The ship is proceeding to London. The Kota Radka's bow was considerably damaged and the vessel is returning to Tilbury Docks.
