CHAMPIONSHIP AW A RDS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dannevirke, Feb. 9. “People’s Day” at Dannevirke show was held in a blaze of sunshine and with a record attendance. The grand champion dairy cow of the show was Mr. W. T. William’s Queen Bess; champion hack, Miss Martin's Celebration. The hunters' competition resulted: Mr. J. Shaw’s Workman 1, Mr. S. R. Hannah’s Gay Paris 2. Ladies’ hunters: Miss Marie Stead’s Gladsome 1, Mr. S. Nelson’s Blue Aloon ■Wire jump: Gladsome 1, Blue Moon 2.
