•WESTFIELD MARKET. By Telegraph.—Press Aseociataoß. Auckland, Last ,Night. At Westfield there was a large yarding of both ox and cow beef, the largest proportion consisting of second quality. All classes were inelined to be somewhat easier, which was more noticeable in unfinished cattle. Extra choice ox sold to 30s per 1001 b; choice and prime, 27s to 295; just killable, 23s to 265; prime young cow and heifer beef, 24a to 265; just tillable, 21s to 235. Sheep.—There was an average yarding. Competition was dull and very few prime wethers were yarded, with little or no change in wethers. Heavy prime wethers made 28s 6d; medium, 24s 6d to 265; light and unfinished, 22s to 245; heavy prime ewes, 2Oe to 212 s ;■ lighter, 17s 6d to 19s: other ewes, 13b 6d to Iss 6d. Lambs.—An average yarding. Fat lambs were on a par with last week, but store lambs were again easier. Heavy prime lambs, shorn, made 27s 6d; medium, 23s 6d to 25e 6d; light, 20s to 22s 6d.
Calves—There was a good yarding, many well finished lines being yarded. Values were inclined to ease. Runners made £4 13s; heavy vealers, £3 10b to £4; medium, £2 15s to £3 8s; light, £2 to £2 12s; rough, 18s to £1 Is; fresh dropped, 3s to £1 12s. Pigs—There was a fair yarding which sold under good competition, prices improving considerably on last week s rates Choppers made £2 12s; extra heavy baconere, £3 3s; medium baconore, £2 10s to £2 17s; light baeoners, £8 4s to £2 8s; heavy porkers, £2 to £2 3s; medium porkers, £1 15s to £2; light porkers, £1 12e to £1 15s.
