DAMAGING FIRE IM FACTORY FURNITURE BURNED AT AUCKL AND By Telegraph.-—Press Association. Auckland, Feb. 6. Damage estimated at £BOOO to £lO,OOO was done by fire at 4.30 a.m. to-day at Tonson Garlick’s furniture factory in Karangahape Road. AU that remains on the ground floor is a mass of burned and charred carpets, linoleums, materials and furniture, and three upturned safes. The insurances total £19,000 (1.0. The loss on the stock is considered by the manager to be in the vicinity of £25,000. Insurances total £21,650 in seven offices.
