TROUBLE AT ST. CUTHBERT’S
PEOPLE WALK OUT OF CHURCH. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Feb. 6, 8.45 p.m. A.P.A. and Sun. London, Feb. 5. Four hundred people walked orrt of St. Cuthbert’s Church to-day before the sermon was commenced. Hundreds followed the vicar to his home. There was no hostile demonstration. At various times previously, riotous scenes have taken place at the church, necessitating the calling in of the police. The trouble concerns the vicar’s alleged Romanist practices in connection with the eucliarist.
