GOVERNMENT IN STATE OF CHAOS REPORTED REVOLT OF MILITARY. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Athens, Feb. 5. Following the resignation of the Government over a road construction quarrel, the garrison is confined to barracks. There are the wildest reports regarding military disaffection current, but they are not confirmed. The Royalie? newspaper has also published an alarmist supplement. The reconstruction of the Zaimis Cabinet is regarded as practically impossible. The President has requested M. Caphandaris to negotiate with the party leaders. London, Feb. 5. The Sunday Express states that M. Venizelos has gone to Paris, following M. Caphandaris’ threat to resign the direction of the Liberal Party if M. Venizelos continued hie intrigue with the militarists.
